About Qiyuan
Qiyuan Memorial is an independent cultural remembrance platform inspired by East Asian traditions — including elements of Buddhist, Daoist, and Confucian cultural heritage.
We are not a temple, monastery, religious authority, or spiritual organization. We are a technology platform that helps families create digital memorials and arrange optional cultural remembrance offerings.
What We Offer
We help families create digital memorial pages and arrange optional remembrance offerings. Our services are designed for cultural remembrance — to honor the memory of loved ones or express care for someone living, in a meaningful and respectful way.
- Memorial pages — private or shareable digital spaces for photos, stories, and tributes
- Wishes & Support pages — calm pages for encouragement and well-wishes for someone living
- Optional remembrance offerings — lamps, cultural dedications, and plaque tributes with transparent pricing
- Documentation — photo or written confirmation provided after fulfillment of paid offerings
What We Do Not Claim
We take this seriously. The following commitments apply across our entire platform — every page, every offering, every interaction.
- We do not promise spiritual efficacy, supernatural outcomes, or religious guarantees of any kind
- We do not claim that our offerings will result in blessings, merit transfer, protection, healing, or any specific outcome
- We do not claim that our services are endorsed, authorized, or performed by any temple, monastery, or religious institution
- We do not claim medical, therapeutic, or psychological benefits from any of our services
Our offerings are cultural gestures of remembrance and care — nothing more, nothing less. The meaning you bring to them is yours. We provide the space, the gesture, and the documentation.
Service Partners
Where applicable, remembrance offerings are arranged through selected local partners or service providers. Qiyuan is not affiliated with any specific temple, monastery, or religious institution.
The exact fulfillment details — including format, location, and timing — are explained on each service page before purchase, so there are no surprises.
Documentation
For eligible paid offerings, we provide documentation to confirm that the service has been completed. This is our commitment to transparency.
- Photo documentation — one or more photos taken at the venue showing the completed offering
- Written confirmation — a note confirming the service details, date, and completion
- Official receipt — a receipt from the venue or service provider
Documentation is typically delivered within 48 hours after service fulfillment at the venue. Where photography is restricted, written confirmation or an official receipt is provided instead.
Free memorial pages and virtual offerings (such as virtual lamps) include digital confirmation rather than physical documentation.
Memorial Page Availability
Your memorial page remains available according to your plan, account status, and platform terms. We design our memorial pages for long-term remembrance, but we do not make absolute "forever" guarantees.
You control the privacy level of your page at all times: Public, Private (link-only), or Invite-only (secured). You can change the privacy level or request deletion at any time.
Refund Guarantee
If we cannot fulfill an offering within the stated timeframe, or if we cannot reasonably complete your request as described, we will issue a full refund. You may also cancel before fulfillment for a full refund.
For details, see our Refund Policy.
